Ways to Get Involved 
 
There are many ways you can help the Center provide free services to cancer patients, survivors, and people at risk in Maine through education, outreach, advocacy, and social support.  We can't do it alone.  No matter how you decide to get involved, you'll be making a valuable difference.
Help Us Raise Funds:
Make a Donation:  Consider a direct contribution to the Cancer Support Center of Maine.  You can make an online donation now, set up a recurring gift, learn about corporate matching gift programs, or send a donation by mail.   Make a Donation
 
Create an Online Charity Registry:  Make your birthday, anniversary, or next special occasion even more meaningful by turning it into a way to support the Center.  Visit JustGive.org for more information and be sure to list the Cancer Support Center of Maine as your charity.  (97% of your donation through JustGive.org will be sent to the Center.)
 
Make Charitable Giving a Part of Your Wedding Celebration:  Consider giving a charitable donation in lieu of favors as a way to thank your guests.  Or create your own online charity registry; in addition to a traditional gift registry, guests can make a donation in your name as their wedding gift to you.  Visit JustGive.org for more information and be sure to list the Cancer Support Center of Maine as your charity.  (97% of your donation through JustGive.org will be sent to the Center.)

Search with Goodsearch.com:  Every penny counts and you can earn one for the Center everytime you search the internet.  GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half of its revenue to charities designated by its users.  You use it exactly as you would any search engine and it's powered by Yahoo!.  Just go to GoodSearch.com and be sure to enter the Cancer Support Center of Maine as the charity you want to support. 
 
Shop with GoodShop.com:  If you shop online, consider using GoodShop.com, an online shopping mall of merchants, from whom you may already be making purchases.  Each purchase made through the GoodShop.com mall results in a donation to the user's designated charity - averaging approximately 3% of the sale, but going up to 20% or even more.  Just go to GoodShop.com and be sure to enter the Cancer Support Center of Maine as the charity you want to support. 
 
Host a Fundraising Event:  Perhaps you want to start a letter writing campaign, collect donations in honor or in memory of a loved one, host a pancake breakfast, or maybe run a marathon to raise funds for the Cancer Support Center of Maine.  We appreciate all efforts to support the Center and FirstGiving.com is a source of ideas, tools, and support for individual fundraisers.  (92.5% of the funds you raise through FirstGiving.com will be sent to the Center.)
